Hi, I’m Laura and I joined Excel Physical Therapy in the Fall of 2016 as a Licensed Massage Therapist. Trained in both Western and Clinical Massage, I integrate an Eastern influence into my services, layering non-traditional modalities with the criterion of modern rehabilitative practice.
As a Licensed Massage Therapist, I brings a diverse range of skill sets and techniques to Excel Physical Therapy. My educational background centers around Neuromuscular Massage, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release and Sports Rehab Massage. However, I also specialize in a number of non-traditional therapies including Thai Massage, Ayurvedic philosophies, Craniosacral, Acupressure, and reflexology.
As wearer of Chucks, a lover of dogs, and self-described Foodie, I can be found spending my free time hiking the valley’s backcountry or in the kitchen baking for friends. I enjoy great food, better music, and above all else laughter. I am excited about my role as Massage Therapist here at Excel and being able to continue my contribution to the wellness movement.
I schedule my own clients for massage, but am also able to see Excel Physical Therapy patients under Worker’s Compensation if deemed appropriate by the Excel treating physical therapist and with approval from a physician.
