Originally from Stedman, North Carolina, Jessie Pearson earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh in 2017, followed by her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Chatham University in 2021.
Jessie began her career as an acute care physical therapist at Forbes Hospital in Monroeville, Pennsylvania, where she also gained valuable experience working on the inpatient rehabilitation unit, providing more intensive, hands-on care. Since 2022, she has been practicing in the outpatient setting at Excel Physical Therapy.
Jessie has a special interest in working with athletes, particularly skiers, equestrians, and runners. She is also the clinic’s only vestibular therapist, treating individuals recovering from concussions, as well as those experiencing benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) and vestibular hypofunction. In addition, Jessie is passionate about helping older adults maintain mobility, independence, and overall quality of life. Her commitment to physical therapy is rooted in a genuine desire to help people recover from injury and return to the activities they love.
Outside of the clinic, Jessie enjoys spending time outdoors. Her hobbies include horseback riding, hiking with her dog Maeve, kayaking, gravel biking, skijoring, and exploring nature whenever she can.
