My name is Krysten Williams, and I graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Allied Health in 2020. I recently graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas this May of 2023 with a Doctor of Occupational Therapy Degree. I had dreamed of moving to Wyoming the majority of my life where I could spend ample time outdoors and made the move in 2022 as I completed all of my clinical rotations here.
I have always had an interest and passion for orthopedics as well as treating neurological conditions. I have a strong background and training in upper extremity rehabilitation and desire to sit for the certified hand therapy exam as well as obtain the license to become a certified hand therapist (CHT) in the near future.
As an occupational therapist, I incorporate a holistic approach into practice as I include clients’ occupations into individualized therapy sessions with client-centered goals focusing on functional return to desired roles and daily activities.
In my free time, I am either outdoors hiking, working out, or snowboarding and enjoying the cooler temps up North.
